I'm having trouble with the payment. What should I do?
Corporate cards may not be accepted — please use a personal card.
When using a Korean card: set the website language to Korean.
When using a foreign card: set the website language to English or Chinese.
If you see the error [PAFW-ERR-TS21] Decline – 3DS(TS21), please contact your card issuer directly.
If payment continues to fail, contact us via email at cocory1@cocory.kr or through Instagram DM and we’ll be happy to help.
How do I cancel my reservation?
You can cancel directly on the website up to 7 days before your visit.
Log in → My Account → Bookings → Cancel
Cancellation policy:
– 7 or more days before your visit: full refund of deposit
– 6 days or less before your visit: deposit is non-refundable
– One-time date change is allowed — please contact us directly to reschedule
Example: If your visit is August 13, you must cancel by 11:59 PM on August 6 for a full refund.
What should I know before my visit?
Arrival: Please arrive 5 minutes before your reservation. Rushing may cause skin redness which can affect analysis accuracy. If traveling internationally, avoid booking on your arrival day. Arriving 10 or more minutes late is treated as a no-show and the deposit will not be refunded.
Clothing & Makeup:
– Personal Color Analysis: Avoid hoodies or high-collar tops — a basic round-neck t-shirt is recommended. Avoid facial treatments that change your skin tone. Come with your usual light daily makeup.
– Face & Body Analysis / Fashion Color & Styling: Bring your glasses or accessories if you usually wear them. Wear clothing that clearly shows your natural body shape.
– Makeup & Features Analysis / Personal Makeup: Avoid white or high-end clothing as makeup may transfer. Cleanse with cold water and apply only light toner and lotion. Avoid sheet masks or heavy skincare on the day of your visit.
Can I bring a friend or family member?
– Personal Color Analysis: 1 companion allowed.
– All other programs: no companions during the session. Companions may wait at a nearby café or waiting area.
The duration on my booking confirmation is different from the program page. Which is correct?
The time shown on your booking confirmation and confirmation email is system-generated and may not be accurate.
Please refer to the specific program page for the correct session duration.

What is a Personal Color Analysis?
A Personal Color Analysis identifies the specific color palette that harmonizes with your natural skin tone, undertone, and contrast level. COCORY goes beyond basic seasonal typing using our patented CCCS 12-Tone System and the CUBE colorimeter for precise skin tone measurement.
How is COCORY's color analysis different from a basic seasonal analysis?
Most services categorize you into 4 or 12 or 16 seasons. COCORY uses proprietary skin colorimeter data to analyze 201 fashion colors against your actual skin readings, giving you guidance for daily fashion, lip color, accessories, and foundation shades.
COCORY also checks your elements, assuring that your results match the way you see the world and yourself.
What do I receive after my appointment?
You’ll receive a digital color results card delivered by email and physical cards with your analysis. The email and cards will include your seasonal profile, recommended daily colors, lip and accessory color guidance, and foundation shade recommendations.
Should I wear makeup to my appointment?
We recommend coming with the way you present on a day to day basis, whether that is with makeup or bare faced. With that said, please refrain from any strong colors such as blushes, eyeshadow, lip product, or bronzers. If you wear base makeup, during analysis we will still check your skin with and without it by removing a small patch of your base for testing.
Can I bring a friend or family member?
Yes, up to one guest per client is welcome to observe. If they’d like their own analysis, please book a separate appointment for them.
What is Personal Balance Design?
Personal Balance Design (PBD) analyzes the structural proportions of your face and body to determine which clothing silhouettes, necklines, eyeglass frames, and accessories create the most balanced and harmonious appearance for you.
How is this different from a regular styling consultation?
PBD uses COCORY’s proprietary Balance Graph and measurement tools, including our Face Ruler, Eyebrow Bars, and Hip/Body Shape Kits to make objective, data-based recommendations rather than relying on subjective opinion.
What areas does a Personal Balance session cover?
A typical session covers face type analysis, neckline and collar recommendations, eyeglasses frame guidance, fabric and pattern suitability, hip shape and clothing silhouette advice, and necktie or accessory styling.
Do I need to have a Personal Color Analysis first?
Not required, but highly recommended. Many clients combine both services for a comprehensive head-to-toe style profile.
Will I receive a summary of my results?
Yes. You’ll receive a digital summary of your balance profile and styling recommendations after your session delivered by email.
Can I bring a friend or family member?
No companions are allowed during the session.
What is a Makeup Balance consultation?
Makeup Balance analyzes your facial features, bone structure, and color type to recommend the most flattering makeup techniques, product shades, and application methods specific to you.
What is the difference between Makeup & Features Analysis and Personal Makeup?
Makeup & Features Analysis: Analyzes your facial features, face shape, and skin type to determine the most suitable makeup style and provide a customized makeup service.

Personal Makeup: A makeup service using the best color combinations for your skin tone and personal image, based on COCORY Cube analysis.

Is this suitable for people with no makeup experience?
Yes. Whether you wear little to no makeup or are an experienced beauty enthusiast, our consultants tailor the session to your lifestyle and goals.
What does the session include?
The session covers foundation and base shade analysis aligned with your color results, contouring and highlighting guidance based on your face structure, eyebrow shaping recommendations, and lip and eye product color suggestions.
Can I combine this with a Personal Color Analysis?
Absolutely, it’s one of our most popular combinations. Your color analysis results feed directly into your makeup shade recommendations for a seamless result.

Who are the COCORY Academy programs for?
Our programs are designed for beauty professionals, stylists, makeup artists, and anyone looking to build a career in personal color, balance, style, and makeup consulting. No prior certification is required to enroll (Makeup Course requires Makeup Artist Certification from qualifying institutes).
How are classes structured?
Each program is taught in person in sessions of approximately 3 hours. Classes are scheduled flexibly to accommodate, and you’ll receive a certificate upon passing the final assessment.
What language are the courses taught in?
Courses are currently taught in Korean, English, and Chinese.
Is there a certification exam at the end?
Yes. Each program has a final practical on a model, no written exam.

What is included in the tuition?
Tuition includes all required toolkits and materials (face guides, measurement tools, fabric kits, etc.), access to all sessions, and your official certificate upon passing.
